TACKLING HARASSMENT AND CREATING

SAFER NIGHTS OUT

What is The Good Night Out Campaign?

The Good Night Out Campaign (GNOC) is a global initiative helping nightlife venues, bars, festivals, and cultural spaces tackle sexual harassment and assault through training, resources, and policy guidance.

They offer practical tools that help venues make clear, confident interventions when harassment or inappropriate behaviour happens — and back it up with staff education and public-facing campaigns.

How can it help your business?

For many, it’s not enough to say you don’t tolerate harassment. The Good Night Out Campaign helps you prove it - through your actions, policies, and staff response. They do this in a variety of ways, by providing resources, accreditations and much, much more.

1.   Delivers specialist training to help staff spot and respond to harassment

2.   Helps you create and implement anti-harassment policies

3.  Provides posters and messaging to reassure customers and deter unsafe behaviour

4.  Offers venue accreditation to show customers and partners that you’re actively creating a safe space

Complying with your Legal Obligations

(Where The Good Night Out Campaign can help!)

The Good Night Out Campaign offers a variety of resources and materials that can not only help educate you and your staff with the correct knowledge, practice and framework, but it can also provide relevant support to ensure you and your business are compliant with UK Government Policies and any other Legal Obligations that you may be held accountable to. See the breakdown below:

GNOC helps you take reasonable steps to prevent third-party harassment of staff.
